Standard Obligatory Reminder to Vote

Actually if anyone else on here lives in NH, remember you can register on the DAY of the ELECTIONS (today) with proof of residency and an ID.

I just went and voted. Every election day I get filled with this odd sense of hope mixed with dread. I'm also a tiny bit disturbed by the fact no one checked my ID when I voted. They took my word that I was who I said I was. This is at once both neat and disturbing when you think about potential voter fraud.

On a related note, one of my co-workers told my Gorbachov is actually a US citizen now and thus able to vote. He said something about him becoming a citizen back when they came to this country for his wife's medical problems.
