horribly bemused

so i went to go have my plantar wart taken care of today. My regular doctor and everyone I talked to said most likely they'd do an extraction, since it was pretty darn deep (It had been treated 3x with no success and it took a year for me to even figure out what it was and get it looked at). My primary doctor told me that the foot doctor would a) use harsher ( and most likely more painful) chemicals than the freezing process he had used 3x with no success or b) numb my foot and take it out by the root or aka dig around with a blade.

( Neither of these things happened. )

(no subject)

this was going to be a very different post but then a friend I haven't heard from since the fall IM'd me. I'd actually just recently thought I really needed to get a hold of him, but I hadn't realized it had been that long.

turns out he had a seizure right before thanksgiving, they don't know why and he's on a ton of meds. He's still on bed rest. I'd have heard about it earlier but I stopped going to fencing on tuesdays in the fall and our email tends to be sporadic with each other.

he gets to go out once a week to go to the movies and make short trips.

gah. hope they figure it out soon, sounds like it may have been something viral.
