redfishiethis was going to be a very different post but then a friend I haven't heard from since the fall IM'd me. I'd actually just recently thought I really needed to get a hold of him, but I hadn't realized it had been that long.
turns out he had a seizure right before thanksgiving, they don't know why and he's on a ton of meds. He's still on bed rest. I'd have heard about it earlier but I stopped going to fencing on tuesdays in the fall and our email tends to be sporadic with each other.
he gets to go out once a week to go to the movies and make short trips.
gah. hope they figure it out soon, sounds like it may have been something viral.
