horribly bemused

so i went to go have my plantar wart taken care of today. My regular doctor and everyone I talked to said most likely they'd do an extraction, since it was pretty darn deep (It had been treated 3x with no success and it took a year for me to even figure out what it was and get it looked at). My primary doctor told me that the foot doctor would a) use harsher ( and most likely more painful) chemicals than the freezing process he had used 3x with no success or b) numb my foot and take it out by the root or aka dig around with a blade.
The foot doctor said that extraction worked but than you have to deal with scar tissue and implied that the harsher more painful chemicals had gotten better. He said *he* never extracted because usually the scar tissue was as bad as the plantar wart in the first place and sometimes they still came back. Then he put an ointment on my foot that he said was nuclear and told me a big blister would form, to drain it if it got big, and to come see him in 3 weeks. I'm supposed to stay off my foot for the rest of the day and not to get it wet or it will turn into a Gremlin.
My foot is darn tingly but it's no where near as bad as the freezing process I've gone through 3x all ready No blood yet either unlike every other time. This is neat as I do *not* get to have bloody socks this time. Instead it's that weird almost itchy feeling which vaguelly makes me want to claw at it. So I'll have a popped blister on my foot to aggravate me when I lunge instead of a sore spot that aggravates me when I lunge....'cept the blister should go away. I took today off anyways...I could use the down-time. I may or may not decide to go in after lunch. i may just stay home and read since I'm supposed to stay off my feet for the day and my bed is calling....
