work, class and lab related (hurrah!)

redfishiewent into the lab by 8ish, checked email, looked over work. I realized i needed to go to the library,(watch VIP tape and drop off books, wasn't sure when LLS opened but figured if nothing else i could get rid of the books).
On the way I swung through the union and ran into A. Had a nice chat, grabbed some cocoa which i promptly managed to spill on myself every third step. we discussed live journal and how much information people are willing to put into it. It seems to vary a great deal. Anything truly personal I wouldn't put up and there are little amusing stories that I might contemplate adding but not always. Live journal is not the same thing as life and should not be taken that way.
I'm back in e-lab now attempting to work on my Supply Chain Management paper. It's supposed to be around 20 pages long and we need to add more analysis into it. then I'm off to the library again.
honestly, it's just going to be another one of those days. the semester is almost over, and I'm not 100% certain when one of my papers is due. i have a presentation next monday, a seminar I must attend sometime wednesday and a potential trip with my research lab to Pratt & Whitney on friday to discuss possible funding opportunities. Not really sure what else is going on beyond that. I am also wondering when I'm going to get more details about the trip (aka when are we leaving and will I have to miss class?, How far reaching are the objectives of this trip?) I suspect that this will be forthcoming though or that we will have a mid-week lab meeting. We haven't had one in awhile, actually, so that makes sense.
I also need to schedule in time to see Buqing to work on the project/proposal for monday. I'm hoping we can meet earlier this week and finish it up, rather than waiting for the weekend. argh! much to do but it IS the end of the semester.
