Jan. 13th, 2009 07:52 amI'm home sick today. Do not want, for lack of a better way to express this. I'm trying to rest to get better sooner rather than latter. Drinking lots of water.
100.1-100.6 degree fever, head aches, wobbly feeling, sluggish, and being sick is making me grumpy. I have stuff I want and need to get done. I recognize that this could be a lot worse - I remember how easily I got sick prior to getting my tonsils out; but colds remain annoying.
I'm trying to remember any other random ways to promote getting over colds - so I figured I'd ask - what are your ways to deal with getting sick? What makes you feel better faster?
Do you do what one friend of mine does and eat spicy foods with ginger to promote your immune system or something else? Ideas and input appreciated.
For now, I'm going to go drink chamomile tea and go take a nap.
