redfishieapparently my last post vanished. here's a brief re-cap.

dougansf's way...helped tia move most of saturday, and went to the LOTR exhibit on Sunday. The exhibit was really cool, and they went into a good deal of detail. They had most of the costuming and armor that I wanted to see too...so I got to g33k fo awhile. Most of the clothing is actually fairly simple clean line construction. I was a little disappointed by how the jewelry looked, but most props, etc, usually look better on screen in their fully imagined film reality than in person or in a case.
I am *still* very amused that they made people put on gloves to handle small swatches of chain mail and how much people reacted to it. I guess I've just been exposed a bit too much to it.
not much else to report. I went to the foot doctor yesterday and got an in-grown toenail removed. My big toe is still a tiny bit numb from the injections :(
