packages and mail at my apartment

redfishiefound out yesterday a package I was expecting this week was supposedly delivered on saturday to my apt. while I was at the Atlas event. I never saw it. It came by USPS...the apartment complex office claims not to have it. Our normal mail carrier knows not to leave packages by the door....still haven't heard back from the post office as to what the carrier said or if it was a substitute one. gahhhh!!!
hopefully I can get the stuff resent. The package even said on it to leave with the office (in case i wasn't home). will call the office again today.
in other news my glasses still haven't shown up at the doctor's office...I'm really hoping they didn't ship them to my house and the same thing happened.
