yesterday I went to the opthamolgist for the first time in 2 years. My work pays for our exams, so I don't know why I hadn't bothered going in awhile. I'm very slightly nearsighted, and have been since grad school when I was working
all day (and yes I mean all day) at a computer screen. I'm perfectly legal to drive without glasses, and my eye doctor has told me itsfine to walk around with my eyes "naked", and I'm just supposed to wear my glasses driving long distances at night or if I know I'm going to strain my eyes by being up toolong, or sometimes when I go to the movies etc.
well i went to the eye doctor yesterday and my prescription is better! My eyesight improved over the last 2 years! yeah and stuff.
I also got new safety glasses for work (paid for by work) and found out that our Vision plan will pay for $100 of personal eyeglasses, so I got a new pair of glasses at my lower prescription. :) and they're nifty ones with titanium sides. :)
