had time off; it was good
Actually it's been such a long time since I've done longer update that I don't think I can encompass it all. It was a nice break. A little too frantic....I didn't give myself enough down time after getting back but I don't really regret that because I had great company.
I also managed to see some people whom i almost never see over the break like![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
thedodger47 and min. It wasn't an incredbly long visit but it was still good to catch up with them.
On the way back to New England, I also sawmercurywaxing which was nifty and hopefully he'll be coming up for birka (http://www.birka.org) at the end of the month. I'm looking forward to that as it sounds like at least 2 or 3 people may be visiting me from afar.
Once I got back to the area I did a lot of other things, including going withdougansf to Maine for a quick bit and attending Rob's NYE party. I also visited the condo of doom at some point and had a great weekend this past weekend....even if Ten's isn't up to Mathhew's standards. :)
On a random other note- work gave us $25 gift cards to Shaw's again this year and today I went to use mine. One of the scores was finding out they had lingonberries for the holidays and thus swedish pancakes must be made later this week :) Yeah for wonderful swedish pancakey goodness!
