So I already stated in another post that I generally don't do New Year's Resolutions, as I believe in constantly trying to improve oneself, but there are some things I feel I need to work on and I could always benchmark them now and look at them later. More will probably added as the year goes one. They aren't resolutions per say, more like reminders of things I've been trying to be better about (why yes that *is* a fine line distinction! :P)
-Eat healthier. Actually just eating would help. I need to stop accidently skipping meals since I am so much more balanced and happy as a person when I actually remember to eat. I know it's weird....but sometimes eating is such a chore to me. I need to add more fruits/veggies to my diet as well.
-Exercise. I have gym membership (24 hour place too) and I need to start lifting weights (especially arm weights) again (Grrrr!.....Argh!....I am fierce!....Bow before the might of my imagined pectoral muscles)
-Take vitamins daily. (I actually keep some at work cause of this.)
-Make it to fencing practice....I adore fencing yet I haven't gone in ages.
-Take up yoga again or look into doing martial arts again. I really miss Shotokan. I really miss meditation.
-Write more. Always a goal.
-Clean the darn apartment. I'm sick of being a pack rat. This entire year I've been getting rid of stuff but I need to take the time to do a bigger sweep of things. This week off was supposed to be about that but I wound up being happily distracted (not a complaint in the least about that). I cleaned a good chunk of stuff out of my parents' place though when I was home. I am now attacking my back bedroom...also known as where fabric goes to die.
-Go through closet and throw out old clothes (very much in-progress; I have no idea why I owned a day glo orange thin nylon vest.....)
-Spritiuality.
-Visit Canada. Heck get out of the country for the first time in my life! (Apparently I'm told there are places that aren't the United States)
-Once again remembering to eat would be good. Darn underdeveloped sense of hunger.
-Keep in better touch with friends. I really value my friends. Should let them know that more.
-Floss. (Wax? Rinse? Repeat?)
-Yipe Yipe Yipe!!!!
