I’m supposed to avoid food with the following substances as ingredients:

1. Sugar
2. Brown Sugar
3. Sucrose
4. Cane sugar/syrup
5. Glucose
6. Dextrose
7. Fructose
8. Corn Syrup
9. Corn Sugar
10. Sucanat
11. Turbinado
12. Fruit Juice Concentrates
13. Beet Sugar
14. Beet Syrup
15. High-fructose corn syrup
16. High-maltoe corn syrup
17. Xylitol
18. Malitol
19. Isomalt
20. Erythritol
21. All alcoholic beverages
22. Aspartame
23. Nutrisweet
24. Saccharin
25. Vinegars
26. Fermented foods (Cheeses, Yogurts, Saurkraut)

In all honesty, the hardest thing on this list is the last one. I basically live off of dairy. Foreign cheeses are evidently acceptable because they aren’t heated as high, so the natural sugars aren’t as bad for you since they aren’t as broken down and processed.

Unprocessed sugars which may be allowable in small amounts:
1. Raw Honey
2. Pure Maple sugar
3. Brown rice syrup
4. Molasses
5. Barley Malt
6. Stevia
7. Unprocessed Fruit Juices
8. Agave

gah. maybe i'll just give up bread instead ;)

so today is actually my 2nd day of this diet. Yesterday I did both gluten free and processed sugar free, and it became evident really quickly how much the combination would suck ;)

I messed up and had some yogurt yesterday and today I accidently ate cheese (I feel _so_ much shame). I think I'm going to go the processed sugar free route if I can manage it. At the very least I'm cutting back on my sugar intake enormously. So far the only real result is I feel sleepy, so i'm probably still in the initial detox phase.

that being said, I have lots of cheese. Any one want some?
