this past weekend
Jul. 13th, 2004 12:58 pmFriday night I headed out to Janie's and got a massage....mmmmm...massage. She does good work, is my friend, and we chatted for awhile afterwards. From there I hopped into my car and came back to see vysern. He showed me some very nice
video stuff he'd been working on. Someone needs to get him a better video editing system....but that someone won't be me as I'm
just too poor for that ;)
Saturday I woke up early, and I headed out to the sneaky camel shoot. The current production is for a short horror flick (written by somehedgehog), and we're hoping to enter it in a couple of festivals around the Rhode Island area this October or so. the script is great and the location we used this weekend was one ofour member's home which
made set-up and filming much easier than it was for the 48-hour film project.
When I got to the set, there wasn't much going on except for walk throughs and set dressing
at this point, so I chatted with Cliff, helped move a few things, and then headed back home to get some errands done. It was strangely relaxing. By 4ish I headed back out to the set, and wound up in the middle of the production. They stuck me in a small closet to do camera work next to a big light. I started sweating sheets....then the sweat stopped. Now I knew this was a problem and tried to get
water in my body right away. I still got dehydrated enough that I started to throw up, so I grabbed a lot of water and decided to leave. I got home, got rehydrated, and did some reading.
Sunday I had a fantabulous day with mercurywaxing. We met up in cambridge, went to the peabody museum, wordsworth, and bummed around harvard square. We wound up over at fencing practice, which was neat and then after dropping mercurywaxing off at the T, I went out for food with siriel, nomadmwe, and dougansf. :D
