i went to a medieval fest/celebration in maine today from 3pm-10pm. The feast ran from 3pm until about 8 or so. I found out during the feast that the woman who was organizing it, was not feeling well and throwing up. She hadn't been sampling the food though and it shouldn't be an issue. I talked to her for a bit, and figured I was probably safe due to the antibiotics I was on.

I got home by 11:30ish or so. By the time I got home I wasn't feeling so good. I had some OJ and went to bed. I just woke up around 1:40 very naseous and threw up (nice heaving action). Tne flu this year is supposed to be a nasty stomach virus, so I'm trying to fiugure if this was something I ate or the flu. I feel a bit shaky. Don't know what it is..sensitivity to food or virus. It freaks me out though since I generally don't get stomache ills, and the last time I threw up was the weekend after I totaled my volvo two years ago...and that was from stomache flu, and it started a really bad trend in my life.

I think I may be sensitive to something in SCAdian cooking though. The last time I was naseous was at Pennsic, a few hours after eating a lamb dish that our neighbors prepared. It might be a sensitivity to a spice I don't normally have. I'm going to try to go back to bed now...maybe sip some water slowly. I really hope I feel better in the morning...*sigh*
