that crush thing...

redfishiei took down my original entry on the LJ crush meme. This was the one were the guy was offering to sell the results of his meme for $4 a pop. I didn't take the quiz (to my memory), so I don't know if the fact this data might be shared or not was mentioned on there (which does make some difference).
I also didn't take it too seriously when I first looked at it since the word crush is really variable to me; when I think crush I don't necessarily mean I love you romantic crush; usually i think friendship crush..as in this person is just plain neat.
I think if I had filled it out, anyone in my secret crush section would have just been fun and I believe the same follows for most of my friends. So at first i didn't see too much harm in him selling the info off, because anyone who was in my crush section would be someone I would guess to be there. If someone took it more seriously though, I can understand them being upset...and I understand why it annoyed some people, so i decided to take it off my LJ. On another note, the guilt evidently got to the guy and he took the site down.
ah well.
