quick update

redfishieI stayed home from work on friday and instead of being good girl and resting; I steam cleaned my living room rug.
I have such problems being still when I'm sick...and it always makes me be ill longer. *sighs* After about 2 hours of this; I was exhausted and I collapsed in a kim shaped puddle on my bed until that evening when I felt better (read slept a LOT).
I decided to go off to visit dougansf (in part b/c i felt better, just wanted to, and had been on meds long enough not to be contagious). We went and saw the new Rock movie- do NOT see this movie. It has no redeeming value other than a pretty girl in it and some nice scenarary. I kept wishing the actors would move out of the way so that I could look at the trees better. Brazil and wherever it was else they might have been filming is a beautiful land. It was a shame all those actors were cluttering up the film with their bad dialogue. Heck, Christopher Walkin couldn't even fully redeem his part and often seemed to be doing a Saturday Night Live parody of all of his other parts.
Probably the worse part of this is that we were also trying to meet some people at the theatre but timing and some miscommunication issues made this not happen...and they didn't have to sit through the terrible movie (grrrrrr).
also went to Falling Leaves briefly this weekend and did some other things; including sleeping a bunch of this afternoon away.
I did manage to fence a few bouts yesterday (which was really nice and I am glad that siriel brought the loaner fencing gear. It was really appreciated...) I was massively looking forward to today's practice....but it started to rain. :(
*sighs* at least I got some more sleep.
