redfishielast night I went to malagentia's practice. I expected we would be indoors due to the forecast and was surprised that we were outside. I got enough time to talk to Christian about my hilt and help teach a newbie footwork (i do this a lot lately) before the rain hit....
the heavies stopped fighting once the thunder started and all the fencers went under the tent on our side of the lawn. We continued bouts under the tents...but could only get about 3 groups of two going. I continued with lesson help, etc...and then i fought dagger with Mikal...it was fun....I killed her two times in a row from the same opening before she corrected it. I've decided I definitely need to pick up a dagger next. That will most likely happen at Pennsic.
when the rain really picked up we dispersed a bit early from practice. It was actually a really nice night. I love how laid back that practice is. Also Jason is getting to be a better teacher....he's allowing people to have style differences.
