Jul. 10th, 2003 01:15 pmI'm starting to have some serious questions about my eating habits. I know they're not great but lately I just haven't been hungry.
I don't get up in the morning and decide today I'm not going to eat. It just sort of happens. Sometimes I'm just *not* hungry for days. I force myself to eat...but it still seems odd. Yesterday was a pretty typical example of my diet-
8am or so breakfast- at work, carnation instant breakfast (all of 200 calories or so)
? - during the day - some tea w/ sugar or decaf coffee, about8 jelly belly mint jelly beans
12:30pm lunch- PB&J, OJ to drink
went to movies....
7:30 pm - a couple of handfuls of popcorn
10:30pm or so - 1 sugar packet; Chicken on the Barbie at Outback (hunk of chicken with spices). some carrots. a small slice of bread with butter. sprite. I was ravenous by this point in time....but i had to force myself to eat. I was so hungry I didn't want to eat.
If we hadn't have gone to the restaurant, I suspect I would have eaten a granola bar (stockpiled in my car) and gone home and *maybe* had something else with some milk.
what's bothering me here is that I just don't feel hungry for large portions of the time and then by the time I do, I need to force myself to eat. It's not a good thing. I thinkl it might be the heat in part but I'm not sure...
A couple of weeks ago I owund up at a Thursday night practice having had a donut and a yoghurt all day to eat....and realizing I really needed food sometime about my second bout....
gaaahhhhh!
