redfishie | weekend update

This weekend was insane and wonderful. Friday I rushed home during lunch to finish my rubakha and then that evening I finished the over piece before I went over to K's and we loaded the car. We did NOT pack economically and some of the stuff is still in my car now. I need to fix that before tonight so I can actually go fencing. We headed out to the site, which was near Worcester and immediately saw Carolyn in the parking lot. We set our tents up in the dark and had some buttery nipples. At some point during this Gerard showed up. He's a sweet guy and a very solid fencer. He was also the person whose little tent we had surrounded with out tents. :) I went to bed before everyone esle and woke up around 2 am unable to breathe and with my heart racing. My tent has a small mildew problem from a leaky trunk last year and I suspect I had some sort of allergy attack. I wound up driving off site to Cumberland Farms, getting cocoa, and some some food and driving back to sleep in my car for two more hours until 5 am when I crawled back to my tent. I was woken up by 7 by people talking.
The actual day Saturday was brilliant. It was beautifully sunny out and I can't say enough about the fun of our fencing melee battle. There's more to say but it can wait. I need to get ready for work.
