redfishieyeah fencing!!!
went to jehan's yesterdayin stockton springs, me. Very cool site. It was in fort knox and the site was closed off to the public so we could play (the official toursit season for the fort begins in May). We got to fence on the battlements, and run around the fort. There was a shortsword and schlager tourney, which was amusing. I also got my buckler (rigid parry object) qual! Yeah! I could then use my buckler in the melees. I love my buckler. The melees ranged over the fort and we did a couple of take the gate versions on the keep. much fun. The entire fort was overrun by fencers...
