redfishiewell i'm not going to crystal snowflake due to a lack of garb cohesion, work i need to do, and a bunch of other factors.
Thursday night we had our "Intro to Fencing" at UNH -
where our room reservation was lost - we wound up in a lobby and then a small theatre when another group decided they didn't need it. the space worked though and it was a nice area.
our main scheduled teacher thought it started a half an hour later than it did, and then got delayed on top of it..but he got there.
the good side-
we had other teachers- and i met someone who used to be our barony's marshal. we had a good number of interested folk...and we got to play a little. it was fun. i met an over-enthusiastic saberist. it has become more and more obvious to me that most saberists are horribly over-enthusiastic. it's really amusing how you can draw in sport fencer by saying things like...you can use your other hand. Here hold this shield.
it looks like we will have more stuff in the future. yeah!
friday was one of those days at work where i was busy all day but I'm still not sure what I was doing all day. I know I was working, but the volume of work didn't seem to go down. I have *so* much to do, and it would be much easier if i could do it all when there was fewer people around.
I was planning on going in today....but it's nice out for now and i know that won't last...so i'm chilling at home...listening to music and cleaning up a bit. I may head over to the intro to heavy class/practice from 12noon to 5 today. I don't know...i'll see how i feel. I may still go into work today or tomorrow.
