Jun. 6th, 2005 07:01 amI had a really excellent time this weekend at Madrigal. I think the most frustrating thing all weekend was putting together a puzzle blindfolded in the Land of Lost Things. The rest of the Land of Lost Things was great fun, including the fighting with mailbox, yardstick, etc. We also got to make a beautiful pine cone woman ;)
The Darkest Road
I have to admit I was really apprehensive about this, but it worked out beautifully. I can't believe we didn't all die. The sun brighting the road as we went along it until the end, was poetic and beautiful.
The way the fighting on the road was set up, in smaller groups within the larger group on the road, was also just about perfect. It stopped a lot of the usual problems I find in big town fights, and brought a lot of small module joy into the bigger fight.
Lots of great interactions with people. I never really had any down time this event between roleplay and fighting.
