redfishieGoing back to copy right law and general domain, everything is derivative. The second word ever invented was a derivative of the idea of the first. The way things are going one day, we’ll be given a certain allotments of words to speak over our lifetime.
Those who are talkative, chatty, loud, and obnoxious, those who never shut up, will run out of words. Agent men will come in big black suits and seal their mouth shut.
“I’m sorry ma’m but you’ve run out of words.”
“MMmmmbutmmm”
“I’m sorry but that will be a $100 fine for trying to talk. Your best bet is to accept it and try not to speak.”
"MMMMmmmm...."
An entire sub-class of non-speakers will emerge who can only listen, shuffling along in the shadows, trying to be understood. People might mean what they say and words would have meaning.
In other news, gosh my co-workers are chatty.
