redfishieI wound up not going to Atlas last night, minor money issues and the fact that my neck was flaring made it less than ideal.
I have since caught up on sleep (yeah!), cleaned my bathroom, read books, put a host more stuff on sale on half.com and e-bay, and in general been cleaning. I really should include a rant on Mercedes Lackey and her writing style here....but needless to say, wow, she hasn't changed much since the last time I read anything by her. It's a shame too since some of her early work was actually good and I loved it when I read her early stuff at the right age. Now, all I notice is how much everyone is out to get the main hero or heroine and even the way the architecture is done, tells us how much the hero's father doesn't love him . Her style is still a little preachy/martyr-ish at times.
However, Now is the time for more chai.
