Prognosis: The water pump is gone, and also my timing belt is about to break.
On the one hand ARGHHHHH!, on the other, the timing belt didn't break, and it was caught in time.
It would be much much worse if it had broken. Possibly even totalling the car.
But the time and cost of my car being in the shop just went up drastically.
It *might* be done tonight, but it's more likely to be finished tomorrow morning to mid-afternoon at the latest.
The water pump is covered by my warranty, but because the belt has not actually broken YET...it isn't.
Gah!
anyways, this most likely means I will be at Endgame late at best.
oh, and I am going to be very broke for awhile.
I'm not sure what else to say, I'm upset, but I also realize this could have been much worse. The belt could have broken on the highway and caused an accident. I'm upset about the timing as I really wanted to go to the event, but there's never a good time for car problems. just argh!!!!!!
