Personal Philosophy
Feb. 17th, 2006 11:36 pmI can remember not that long ago, getting in an argument with someone which basically went -
Me: "that's not fair"
Them: "Who said life was fair, that's just the way it is."
and them using that argument to think they were right.
And it dawned on me afterwards what my problem with this whole argument....
It was so defeatist.
Life isn't fair, but it's our job to try to make it more fair than it is already is. That's what humanity is all about. Dang it, I'm apparently still an idealist.
