(no subject)

a rather strange question, but how do most people know they are too sick to go to work? I always seem to get it wrong, go in, stay half the day or less, and wind up coming home exhausted and get more sick.

This is also evidenced by the fact I tried to go back to work the monday after getting my tonsils out.
