Nifty things I learned yesterday

-Barnes and Noble does not do online inventory checks at stores, but Borders does. They update their inventory every 24 hours. Not only that but they will reserve the requested book for 3 days if you fill out a form online. This saved me running around to multiple book stores looking for a gaming book after my local gaming store didn't have it.

-Emeril is doing a book signing at my local Barnes and Noble on October 13th from 4pm on. I have mixed feelings about the man as a chef, but it's still kinda neat and I'm sure he'll say BAM! a few times.

Not really a new thing, but I think I shall definitely bring some form of baked good to madrigal. I haven't baked recently enough and if I don't bake soon I will go into baking frenzy, complete with anime-ish hands whirling at top speed, manic laughter, and making too many baked goods to actually consume in one sitting.
