Situation- Not allowed to fight or fence or do anything that may upset my neck or shoulder for awhile. It seems like I may have jarred them some more between Atlas and Madrigal. If I'm good to them I may be able to fight by the time the events come back around (I hope).
Problem- This time of year is all about fencing and fighting for me. Most of my social activities are planned around this (as evidenced by the 4x a week practices I went to last year). I'm massively missing fencing right now. It's beautiful outside and I want to run around. I've been trying to get to practice since January or so and physical and other problems just keep cropping up.
It's made worse by the fact the way that I usually deal with frustration is exercising and I don't know what I can do.
Does anyone know any exercise/fun activity I can do that won't tweak out my neck or shoulders?
I was talking to
sistahraven, and the only thing I/we could come up with is bellydancing and hiking... Does anyone know anyone who teaches bellydance in the area? I started to learn 2 years ago and then couldn't find instruction up here.
I'm going nuts with excess energy! Heck, I'm even working on sewing projects ;P
EDIT- part of the reason this is so darn important is that I've been getting really bad headaches and I want them to go away. My Physical Therapist told me to take it easy and not to fight for awhile....but I need to do something.
