Ridiculous!

So EARLY last week I went in to the dr's office b/c i had a sore throat and fevers. I don't have sensitive tonsils and I don't tend to get fevers...so this said something. I figured I might have strep, which until a year ago I had never had. They did a culture, said I didn't look too bad and sent me on my way. I didn't hear from them, came down with flu symptoms but the fever went away, spent the weekend home, came into work all this week and then yesterday (over a week later) I got a phone call. The strep test was positive. they don't know why it didn't come back sooner.

so I have strep. again. this is ridiculous.

They're going to go send a presecription over to my pharmacy today....normally i'd go back in to see the doctor, but unfortunately his father died yesterday and his daughter is also in surgery today....so yeah.

ugh.

btw- in case it wasn't clear not pissed off at my dr or his office. he's a great doctor and I feel really bad that i have to bother him for a prescription right now....
