Dreaming of H.G.Wells

...or rather of an alternate universe with a writer named Jim Wells from the same time period who wrote amazing stories about time travel and seeing things speed up or slow down in order to do it. The dream was essentially about him discovering his theories were true because unbeknownest to him, his characters were real (and pissed off at him for the crap he was writing about them) and arranged for him to have a little "trip" so they could confront him. The characters are from throughout different time periods, and for lack of a better descritipion, real characters....partially because they already were that way but partially because Jim wrote them that way. The dream was a lot more interesting then it sounds here mostly because of the time travel theory and effects, costuming, neat interpersonal plot, and a strange sub-plot involving Jim's wife.
