(no subject)

I had a really good weekend. I headed out to a new friend's place to NPC a small in-house larp. I had a lot of fun at it for a few reasons - 1) the company 2) I got to play with many different types of weapons, which always makes this little aggresive pacifist happy.

I'm not going to go into more detail on this; except to say I like swords. swords are good.

Instead I will talk about Underworld. A group of us went out to dinner and then to see the movie at the end of the weekend. It was not very good but amusing. Apparently all people who have fangs much have accents. I'm convinced this is because the actors have not learned to talk properly with their fangs in. All the dialogue seemed over-ennnunnnciated as a result. the plot line was a bit expected. There was no build-up. No bang...
oHHHH! feeling when you found out new plot information. It came out too easily and too soon; and then there were lots of fights. I think I've seen better acted porno-
flicks, and i haven't seen many of those. The best quote I've seen about this is from safirering's LJ-
"And if you have a massive phobia of vinyl, this would be a bad movie for you to see"

oh well. :D
