Aug. 17th, 2003 01:40 pmsome quick observations post=war week
-my apartment is messier than i remembered
-my apartment is bigger than i remembered
-i have too much stuff
-i didn't spend enough time with certain people; this always happens...but it definitely happened this time
-i wish i had gone out harassing people with devil_bunny more.
-i do not function incredibly well on little or no sleep and I would have done more if I functioned better(especially the last night)
-it is however amusing how badly i function on little sleep sometimes....words take on strange and new meanings.
-this was an odd pennsic...but it got much better as the week went on
-wandering around in the dark is fun

Aug. 17th, 2003 08:23 pmthe nature of engineering-
i have 2 engineering degrees. My B.S. is in Biomedical with an electrical engineering concentration. It sounds super fancy and worthwhile to those who don't know much about it but it basically means I played with a lot of signals and systems stuff and looked at how that applied to the human body. It's fascinating stuff...and I love medicine and I am also repelled by it.
My second is in Industrial engineering-lots of logical stuff and planning. I'm quite good at what I do but I don't truly love it. I like it. I think I may be a reluctant engineer. ah well. I should probably go at this all logically like a good little engineer and figure out what i need to change...but for now I will just let it mull for a bit.
