Aug. 5th, 2003 11:03 amyesterday the plan was to go do laundry and get my garb washed. This actually happened.
I discovered that the laundracard that I need to use to use the washers in my complex was inexplicably working again, and thus the $28.50 I had on it was not in fact lost. So instead of going to the laundromat for a few hours, I did my laundry in my apaprtment building. Since there are only 2 washers and dryers this involved a lot of going up and down three flights of stairs. The good thing is I got my garb washed, unfortunately my other favorite tunic is now dead as stains from some event did not come out and I didn't catch them until after I dried it. :(
I also picked up a new bookcase for my back bedroom, set up my sewing machine in the one room, fixed a collar on a halfway done tunic, and picked up some more pennsic odds and ends. Today I'll go pick up some more trim and get the last of my food supplies....then home to sew some more and hopefully finish up the 2 tunics I have in progress. The one is an ugly color but some garb is better than none at this point.
