(no subject)

fell asleep around 10 with the lights on, only to have a disturbing dream....long story short, it was about these alien -type maggots/insects with green shells and white innards that could take human form and burrow into deceased people which they though of as shells, and use them like puppets. They didn't understand why it disturbed people. A group of them surrounded our party (shell-less) and started to dance and move trying to be more like us in shape and then got angry at us when we did not try to be more like them. They had a more fluid form than people do. It didn't occur to them that we couldn't make our form more like theirs. We tried to explain that the using of the forms/dead bodies was sacrilege to us, and they didn't get it...so we tried to explain again as they crowded round us like puppies, said we needed to regroup and think on this, and bailed. Now this may not sound so bad, but 4' insects that are 2' round and burrow are not fun....especially when they don't understand why your offended and are a bit over-eager.

now i really have no idea if this relates to anything in my real life. It's hard to tell. I kind of hope it doesn't.

I woke up at this point, took care of the lights and went back to bed. The entire night was riddled with dreams....one had a neat flying dragon scupture mounted over a very small plane, almost an ultra-lite, that could be controled from on top, ala riding the dragon.
