(no subject)

I had a half day on friday...came home, got the extra keys for the apt from the office, and collected Nick. We went up 95 to Portland where an ATM kept us incredibly frustrated by not letting us get any $. The we wandered to Freeport, home of L.L. Bean. The cool thing about L.L.Bean clothing is that they are guarenteed for life. 3 years from now if your pants or shoes are destroyed you can send them back to the company and they'll send you new ones. We went quickly to their factory outlet store (this is the one NOT open 24 hours). This is where merchandise goes when its an overrun or returned because its the wrong size or has small defects. I got two pairs of pants for a total of $15. We determined we didn't have time to go to the main store and this didn't much matter since it is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year. We drove north on 1 and went to Rockland to see Mikey and go to the Coast Guard x-mas party. much fun....got to go on a tour of Mike's cutter too. Wandered home slowly and very tired...stopping briefly again in Freeport and the crashing into bed around 1ish.

tired. went around town in the rain b/c we lost power this morning...while I was in the shower. went to walmart---but first to the puppy place. Met a *great* jack russel terrior. Need to not work such long hours before that can happen though :(

met up with Ernest after going to the comic book store...chatted about armor, went fabric shopping, split up again. Went home and then met up with K and M to go to Applebees...they were going to the star trek movie, but we split and went home via blockbuster. yeah for rainy days snuggly in bed watching movies.
