(no subject)

hmmm..fencing was fun tuesday night but I thought I shouldn't have gone, was feeling a little run down. Got home and didn't feel too great and then last night the cold hit. Suddenly had very stuffed sinuses. I think I have a mild temperature....not too sure...need to find my thermometer...but it appears to have run off with the other 4 or so I have. I really am beginning to think there is a secret thermometer conclave somewhere in my apartment.

more random stuff

came home from work early-about 3:30 or so. Pat (the guy who is sitting acrosss form me in Cubical-land) told me too, he also tried to give me about 6 different recipes for hot toddies. Hah. I'm really stuffed up, but once I left work, with it's dry air...i felt a bit better. I keep sneezing, blowing my nose, and then getting restuffed. Also my back and neck hurt. Okay enough of a rant on that.

It was neat that I told my boss I had caught someone else's in the office's plague and he told me "go home" right away....of course that person has been sick on and off for weeks...but can't afford from a project perspective to go home. I may or may not go in tomorrow. If it will get rid of my cold to stay home...i will. I'm sick of rebounding on the same cold.

I also bought a new thermometer. This one will surely escape to join the others soon....I have to discover how the thermometers leave notes to the new ones as to where to go...It's sort of like Logan's Run, only compeletly different, as I don't think that "Sanctuary" has quite the same vibe....at least I hope it doesn't.

The girl heading up the incipient SCA group at UNH has decided to make their meetings Tuesday night...which is in direct conflict with the Portland practices....where I could actually *learn* some fencing stuff......grrr...do I go to a practice with people who know less than I do (or more in some ways with collegiate fencers there) to encourage the barony or go to where I can learn? I think the answer is clear.
