National Banned Books Week
Sep. 25th, 2003 10:48 amSo one of my friends pointed out that this was National banned Books week and that in celebration of this we should each go to the library and check out a copy of Playboy and Hustler.
I am amused.
In any event, the 100 most frequently challenged books are interesting.
I get things like Sex by Madonna being on it, but Blubber by Judy Blume? Actually a couple of Judy Blume books are on it....She's obviously a rebel.
heck, I bet she's a terrorist.
We better go inform the media and President Bush.
We'll have her in an internment camp in a matter of hours. After that we'll go after the guy who wrote "The Pigman"
