redfishiegot my car worked on yesterday. Front brake pads replaced, some other brake work, back brake pads cleaned, oil changed, tired rotated, air filter replaced. Also had them check the car over for a long trip (pennsic) which is how the air filter got replaced. Not too bad...ran me about $450 all told (brake work=expensive). i probably could have done it myself but I am not confident in my skills as a mechanic to do brakes right and I don't have a place to lift the car up safely. Plus this took less time. Price was reasonable for what was done (double checked this with my dad too). Yeah for my fixed up car :)
So I'm one step closer to my trip. Went to my doctor's today for my ear/vertigo problem....seems to be allergies acting up. I now have more Allegra. One day I may even figure out what I'm allergic to. :)
Lots of other stuff going on. some stuff about our baronial fencing marshal position as well.
