redfishiewow. i just fell asleep last night with all the lights on. I was so tired. I got up yesterday morning, cleaned the bathroom, and picked up a bit in the living room. It's still not great but you can see my futon. :)
Jenn (soon to have some new SCA name) came over at 8:30 and we hopped into the car to Fabric Fix. It's a great fabric store about an hour away in Manchester. I wasn't supper keen on going but I knew she had never been and I had told her I would take her. This was mostly just me wanting to stay in bed yesterday morning anyways. I'm really glad I went. The ride out was nice, we talked about annoying people, karma, fencing, garb, the group at UNH, jobs, and more fencing.
We got to the store and it was pretty obvious that Jenn was in love with it. It's a small warehouse which buys ends off of productions. It's also about the only place I know of to get linen around here. Typically their 60 wide linen runs about $6/yd and they have a good selection. They also have some nice wools, etc. It's a great store....especially if the only competition is Jo-Ann's.
We wound up at Jenn's place, doing some sewing, watching movies, me fiddling with my new machine, and hanging out with her husband. Grabbed some Indian food (mmm...chicken tika masala...mmmm) and basically had a good time. I didn't get home until at least 11. It was a really good day. Jenn and her husband are such nice people...and I got eat Indian food. :)
today is maybe reading HP, cleaning up a bit, possibly doing laundry :(, going to fencing :), and puttering around the house in general. This weekend is going to end way too soon. I can tell that already.
