A million different thoughts rolling around in my head tonight; mostly not in the direction that would be expected.
One of them, which is a bemused / amused sort of thought, is that I am a fool; both for the things I do and the things I don't do. But it's not a new thought.
I'm also still vaguelly amused that I managed to trip on my pants during the event this weekend and go sprawling. I could have covered it up as tripping on a rock in the dark, and saved my own dignity, but honestly it was too silly. I had to laugh at myself.
Anyhow, overall a really good weekend. <a href="http://www.larp.com/atlas/>Atlas</a> was fun though the scaling felt slightly off in a lot of the combats. There were many mods where we went on fights and fell down a LOT, and barely escaped. The 2 hours(?) fight while finding flags in the woods was happy. Within minutes, we were covered in sweat and breathing hard. We actually really needed to take a water break mid-way and reassess and reset, and the module was set up to oblige this need. I love when modules are setup to let that sort of thing happen, and allow for good player and npc safety levels. There's something about a good fight that makes you feel alive.
